Kaiting Bronson

Testimonial

"Few speech-language pathologists whom I have worked with achieve the sincerity and depth of caring that I have seen from Kaiting Bronson. Kaiting takes time to get to know each of her clients, and she uses information about their personality, culture, and interests to design customized sessions. Students are engaged to the extent that they feel like they are playing fun games rather than merely participating in therapy.

In the event that students do not make expected progress, I have observed Kaiting think deeply and make tweaks to her sessions until children respond to the intervention. Not only does she want to see students make progress in the session, but she follows up with parents and teachers to make sure that kids improve their speech at home, school, and the community... I cannot say enough positive thing about Kaiting and encourage potential clients to seek opportunities to work with her. -Dr. Katie Hartmann

Diagnostic Evaluations

The following components are used to determine present levels of a child's strengths and weaknesses to determine the best plan of care.

Standardized testing compares child's ability to assumed age-appropriate criteria

Clinical testing includes language samples during non-standardized testing such as play activities and narratives

Dynamic assessment evaluates a child's learning style and ability to acquire skills

Individual Therapy

Personalized sessions are created based on a patient's needs and interests. The goal is to produce experiences most relevant and of high significance to them while keeping a focus on functional speech and language.

Family Education

Home exercise plans are created in order to ensure carryover of skills gained in therapy sessions to home and community environments.

Community collaboration

Strategic planning with members of the community, such as the patient's teacher and school-based Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and others help ensure patients are being treated with compatible approaches.

Speech Disorder

Delays in organizing sound systems in the brain, pronouncing words, and not being understood by others.
